Katrina Lamb’s international investment industry career spans more than 25 years and includes both buy and sell side experience. She specializes in the research, analysis, and evaluation of the capital markets opportunities that inform and shape the firm’s investment approach.

As head of investment strategy and research, Katrina takes the lead in turning in-depth research into innovative, proprietary asset strategies. As part of this process, she employs a variety of techniques and disciplines, including quantitative models that analyze market price, volatility, and relative value signals, as well as fundamental asset valuation strategies. Katrina is also a core member of the firm’s Investment Committee, where she shapes the discussion and context for decisions around asset allocation and investment selection for client portfolios.

Prior to joining MV Financial in 2005, Katrina lived and worked for a number of years in Vienna, Austria, where she directed a portfolio of private equity investments in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. She has also worked in various financial sector capacities in London, Moscow, Tokyo, Singapore, and Jakarta.

Katrina’s insights and analysis have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Reuters and many other prominent financial publications.

Katrina holds a B.A. with honors from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the CFA® Institute and a CFA charterholder.
